Guidelines to Special Pick Up (Curbside Bulk)

This service is very vaulable to the citizens of Fulton as a whole to keep large bulk items removed from the City and not placed in an unsightly or unsanitary mannner.  In the past this service has been abused in many ways.  The services abuse has made it unsustainable and made the curbs throughout the City a “trash dump”.  The guidelines for this service are as follows and will be enforced by the Code Enforcement Officer.  

Bulk Pick Up (Curbside) Rules

ATTN FULTON RESIDENTS – BEGINNING OCT 1st, 2020 – BULK PICKUP WILL OCCUR ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY, THE 2nd and 4th WEEK OF THE MONTH.

                   

·         Residents can set out (3) bulky (large) items or appliances at the curb 24 hours before their regular trash (cart) pick-up on the second and fourth week of the month. No loose or bagged items will be allowed.

·         Large or bulky items shall mean those typically contained within the residence, such as couches, chairs, tables, mattresses. Large appliances shall mean, but not limited to, empty refrigerators or freezers (doors removed), stove or ranges, air conditioners, water softeners, water heaters, washers, dryers, furnaces, or any type of whole house heating unit. (NOTE) Any item such as refrigerators, air conditioners, or freezers, must be tagged by a certified technician that the compressor and freon has been removed. Items set out without this tag will not be collected.

·         Bulk pick up does not include construction, renovation, or demolition debris.

·         All bulk items must be 4 feet from a pole, guidewire, parked car and please be aware overhead power lines or cables when placing on the curb.
